My dog has special needs or has some behavioral problems. Can he still stay?

Yes. We make arrangements on a case-by-case basis for dogs with special needs, including dogs who prefer not to play with other dogs. Call us for an evaluation and quote.

Your Dog’s Day As A Boarding Guest

A Fun, Varied Program
Just like us, dogs like variety in their day—it keeps them happy and healthy. And no a-la-carte charges here—all activities are included in your dog’s stay!

Here is a sample itinerary for a day at the New Beginnings Boarding Facility:

6:30-9am: Breakfast, Potty Break, and Group Play (if appropriate)
Dogs meet up with their friends and start the day with some romping and play. If group play is not your dog’s cup of tea he’ll enjoy a brisk walk on the walking track with one of our staff members, and some good old fashioned one-on-one attention.

9-10:30am: Snack Time
A stuffed Kong or a chewie.

10:30am-12pm: Playgroup (if appropriate)
6-8 dogs chosen for size and compatibility. If not, outdoor play with a staff member. Board & Train guests have up to three training sessions.

12-1:30pm: Lunch time and a Nap
Guests enjoy the midday meal and then sleep it and the morning’s activities off.

1:30-4pm: Best Buddy Playtime
2-3 pups that particularly like each other and have well matched play styles play together in smaller subdivided groups.

4-6pm: Dinner and a Potty Break

Evening Activities
If your dog is staying the night with us, the fun doesn’t end here. Evening activities include one more play session, cuddles, 3 additional potty breaks, and a bedtime snack.

A Note on Puppies
To keep them safe from injury and disease, puppies have their own, separate play area at our facility where no adult dogs are allowed.

The boarding drop off and pick up times are interchangeable, except for Sundays which are pick up hours only.

Mon-Fri: 6:30-9am and 4:30-6:30pm
Saturday: 8-10am and 2:30-4:00pm
Sunday: 4-6pm (Pick Up Only)

Schedule
We board 7 days a week. However we are closed for Drop-Offs and Pick-Ups on New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day and keep clients informed well in advance of any additional closings.

Vaccination Requirements
Dogs 6 month and older - DHPP, Rabies, Bordetella.
Puppies 9 weeks to 5½ months — Your Puppy must have completed at least the first round of puppy shots - DHPP and bordetella.

Pre-requisite
Dogs must attend a one night test stay prior to a longer stay to ensure they are comfortable in a boarding environment, and evaluate to determine whether they'll enjoy group play.

Cost
$35 per day.
